Nathalie Ballarini
FortitudeIntroduced to the piano from a very young age, Nathalie Ballarini forged her musical identity at the prestigious Berklee College of Music (USA). This dual culture, between classical rigour and jazz openness, makes her a singular composer, able to marry the emotion of solo piano with the power of the orchestra.
Recognised for her talent as a colourist of sound, she stands out particularly in music for the screen, notably composing the original soundtrack of Philippe Sisbanne’s film Post-Scriptum (Canal+). Her universe, at once dreamlike and structured, also extends to eclectic projects ranging from tango to children’s music, reflecting a curiosity without borders.
In 2009 she released her first album, “Piano Zen Volume 1”, from which the piece “Fortitude” is taken.
The CD of the album “Piano Zen Vol.1” is included with this score.
