Armelle Cocheril's piano transcription of this Yves Montand classic is adapted here to offer a perfect balance between the lightness of a bucolic stroll and high-flying piano writing, while meeting the demands of the upper levels. Written by Pierre Barouh and composed by Francis Lai, this piece uses a driving rhythm evoking the turning pedals.

This level 9 score represents the culmination of the CrocK’MusiC path, ideal for advanced students seeking to combine pure technique with a sense of storytelling.
Learning focuses on:
- Rhythm: mastering a constant, fast flow, requiring absolute regularity to pay tribute to the movement of the bicycle.
- Technique: work on articulation, rapid movements across the keyboard and fine handling of polyphony to separate the vocal line from the motoric accompaniment.
- Clarity: an airy layout in D minor, careful and complete engraving with fingerings.
