Note-for-note transcriptions of the original versions for solo piano.
This songbook is made up of two parts:
- the first offers the sheet music of 6 piano pieces taken from the album “Rue des Cascades”
- the second consists of graphic work created by graphic designer David Gimenez from the lyrics of the song “Rue des Cascades”
“It is a book born of a single impulse,
of a single desire to create a new polyphonic object.
It is a singular book, strange and penetrating,
in which the voice of the ever-present author constantly resonates.
One hears the rustlings of his universe,
among the correspondences between images,
words and music.
Behind the meaning of the words, sounds,
behind the sounds, meanings...”
