The Comptine collection is made up of transcriptions of children's and traditional songs.
Each title includes a piano arrangement graded by difficulty level (from 1 to 9) to suit both beginner and experienced musicians.

The difficulty of this piano arrangement is ⑤, corresponding to a fairly easy piece that introduces light right-hand harmonisation and syncopated rhythms. This arrangement offers a rather original transcription of the work.

“Silent Night” (Stille Nacht), composed in 1818 by Franz Xaver Gruber to a text by Joseph Mohr, is one of the most famous Christmas carols in the world. Its gentle, soothing melody, combined with a steady rocking motion, makes it a musical moment full of serenity and contemplation. Translated into many languages and inscribed on UNESCO’s list of intangible cultural heritage, this carol has crossed generations and borders, becoming a staple of the Christmas repertoire.

The sheet, including the piano arrangement, the lyrics and a vocal score with chords and guitar tablature, is printed on natural white Rives 180 g/m² paper and presented in a transparent plastic sleeve.

The downloadable version (PDF) includes the MP3.
