Comptine
Lundi matinThe Comptine collection is made up of transcriptions of children's and traditional songs.
Each title includes a piano arrangement graded by difficulty level (from 1 to 9) to suit both beginner and experienced musicians.
The difficulty of the piano arrangement is ③, corresponding to an easy piece with simple melody and bass, including position changes and frequent thumb passages.
“Lundi matin” is a well-known traditional French nursery rhyme, humorously telling the misadventures of a character who has lost his friend Pierrot. Its simple, repetitive melody, combined with a narrative text, makes it an ideal resource for young musicians. Easily memorised, this rhyme is part of the essential children’s repertoire, often used for learning singing and rhythm.
The sheet, including the piano arrangement, the lyrics and a vocal score with chords and guitar tablature, is printed on natural white Rives 180 g/m² paper and presented in a transparent plastic sleeve.
The downloadable version (PDF) includes the MP3.
